5 Cocktails to Toast to the Start of Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week is almost upon us! The week of events is synonymous with a lack of sleep, gorgeous clothing, celebrities, models, and parties into the wee hours of the night — and the need for extra concealer in the mornings. Whether you are heading to the tents or catching up on all the action here, a toast with these five cocktails will make you feel like you’re a part of the Fashion Week fun! Cheers!

EFFEN Catwalk


1/2 parts EFFEN® Vodka
3/4 part Pineapple Juice
1/2 part Agave Nectar
1/2 part Fresh Lime Juice
1 slice Fresh Jalapeño
1 cube Fresh Pineapple

In a mixing glass, muddle jalapeño, pineapple, agave nectar, and pineapple and lime juices.  Add vodka and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme.

Black Cherry Starlet


2 parts EFFEN Black Cherry Vodka
3/4 part DeKuyper Peachtree Schnapps Liqueur
3/4 part Lemon Juice
2 slices Fresh Peach
2 Fresh Cherries
1 part Club Soda

In a mixing glass, muddle peach slices and cherries in juice and syrup. Add EFFEN Black Cherry Vodka, peach liqueur, and lemon juice over ice. Shake and strain into a tall glass over ice. Top with club soda and garnish with peach and cherry.

Toast of the Town


1 part EFFEN Black Cherry Vodka
1/2 part Raspberry Liqueur
Champagne

In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients except champagne. Strain into a fluted glass and top with champagne.

Black Cherry Glamour


1 part EFFEN Black Cherry Vodka
1 part Aperol Liqueur
3/4 part Grapefruit Juice
1/2 part Lemon Juice
1/4 part Agave Syrup
2 parts Sparkling Wine

In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients over ice except sparkling wine. Shake, and strain into a wine glass over a small scoop of ice. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with grapefruit peel.

EFFEN Couture


1 1/2 parts EFFEN Vodka
1/2 part Leroux Triple Sec
3/4 part Lime Juice
1/2 part Simple Syrup
3/4 part Pomegranate Purée
3/4 part Passion Fruit Purée

In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients over ice. Shake and strain into a low tumbler over ice and garnish with lime wheel.
