Lauren Conrad AKA LC from Laguna Beach/ The Hills was the belle of the ball at the MTV Movie Awards. Admittedly overdressed in a sweeping Pamela Roland gown, “Laur” and I giggled like giddy girls about our shared name… and then moved on to more pressing topics (fashion, friendships, fab borrowed jewelry, etc.)

(Oh, P.S… Though she told me she was happy in that dress… I had trouble believing her. First of all, she kept tripping over it… And she had a massive stain under her armpit… I almost commented. It looked like ink though. How’d she manage that faux pas?!?)

So you did a poll on Yahoo where users voted on which dress you should wear. Are you happy with the selection?

Yeah. I mean it was actually the one I wanted to wear. I didn’t know if I could get away with it because it’s long, and it’s a little more casual [at the MTV Movie Awards] but they voted for it.

And your ring is phenomenal. I’m absolutely obsessed. I like zoned in on it from a mile away. Is it borrowed?

Thank you. Yes. I was wearing it with my pajamas last night. I was wearing all my jewelry with PJs… I’m a little bit afraid because it’s coming off right now. (Lauren shows me that the ring is easily slipping off her finger.)…

So, hypothetically, what would happen if the ring just fell off your finger and you couldn’t return a zillion dollar piece of borrowed jewelry?

You know what… I hope I never find out. Because I really don’t know.

What’s the craziest rumor you’ve ever heard about yourself?

There was this whole write-up about me and Audrina on Spring break. It was the funniest thing ever to read because people like made up that they like slept with Audrina, and she was like “what is this?” My dad called me, and he’s like “I’m reading the National Enquirer…”

So how are things working out with Audrina? You’re roommates now.

Good. We’re having fun.

She told me you’re on this whole work out regime?

Yeah. Our trainer secretly hates us.

Will you guys hang out with Spencer and Heidi?

Probably not.

So, having had a little time to reflect on it, do you still say now that your friendship with Heidi suffered?

(Lauren gives a strained smile and nods her head.) Little bit. Yeah.
