On Sunday, Princes William and Harry celebrated the memory of their beloved mother at the Concert for Diana. The event, which would have been Princess Diana’s 46th birthday, was held at the brand new Wembley Stadium in London. Over 60,000 people paid tribute in person, and millions more watched on television to honor the adored Diana.
It was a bitter sweet day, honoring Princess Di’s work with children and charities, and celebrating her love for life, her passion for music, and her admirable gratitude and humility. Proceeds from the event went to charities that the late Princess supported.
Concert performers included Duran Duran, Rod Stewart, the English National Ballet, Elton John, Diddy, Fergie, Joss Stone, Lily Allen, Natasha Bedingfield, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, and Tom Jones.
