Happy Friday! (or more specifically happy three-day-weekend Friday!) Woohoo! In honor of the unofficial end of summer vacation, I’m recapping some old and surfacing some new photos of celebs hobnobbing in the Hamptons. Yep, sadly this is one of the last weekend’s where NYC ladies and gents hop on the Jitney and lounge on the chic Long Island coast. (And more sadly, I’m staying in Manhattan, and not taking advantage of a long weekend.) Oh, well… these photos take me on a little vicarious Hamptons getaway. Enjoy!

Looks like the bubbly and adorable Cameron Diaz isn’t taking a break from filming her comedy, What Happens in Vegas, to celebrate her 35th birthday… but she is partying with the cast and crew! Cameron received balloons, cards, and presents on set today!

We can’t stop raving about how good she’s been looking lately. It’s a slow Thursday morning, so I thought I’d kick-start the day into gear with a look at two of my favorite guys out and about in NYC last night…

Ryan Reynolds is smoldering in a sexy navy blue suit. He was leaving a taping of the Conan O’Brien Show. On his way out of the television studio, he was swarmed by autograph seekers and tourists. As he got into his car he was kissed on the lips by a female fan… Lucky lady.

Hayden Pannettiere, and her fellow Heroes, are in Paris promoting the release of the show’s season one DVD. Hayden, surrounded by entourage and bodyguards, was photographed wearing jeans, a turtleneck, wedge shoes, a large white cap, and white retro-esque sunglasses.

Personally, I think the usually-adorably-dressed starlet looks a little ridiculous in this ensemble. I mean… that cape?!? What was she thinking? I know you’re a “Hero” but you don’t need a superwoman cape quite so ridiculous, do you?!? And the white framed Raybans – not my thing!

As fashion week quickly approaches, I’m on the quest for a few chic accessories that will add a little punch of panache to my usually uniform ensembles (countless cotton LBDs.) Instead of investing in a super-expensive ultra-luxe handbag (which I’ll ruin stuffing my laptop in) or a fabulous pair of heels (which I’ll destroy running to make it to the tents,) I’m taking a cue from these super-cool celebrities who rock fab fedoras with some seriously stylish and bad-ass hattitude. xo
