So, I know a lot of you adore Katherine Heigl… (And don’t get me wrong, up until today I’ve had nothing but good things to say about the Grey’s girl.) But now, seeing this photo, I’m starting to wonder what all the fuss is about.

Here, Heigl has lunch yesterday at a Los Angeles eatery with a girlfriend. Her gal pal should’ve ushered her right out of the café upon seeing her wearing that old-lady, unflattering sweater. She looks so plain Jane. (And, again, don’t get me wrong, I respect her casual, carefree, no-frills-for-the-paparazzi-I’m-an-everyday-regular-girl style.) But, I just don’t like this look one bit. And I also absolutely hate that she’s perpetually photographed with a cigarette in hand. To quote my mom, “that’s just so not cool.”

On a sidenote, the paparazzi asked Heigl if she had any updates on the writer’s strike. She laughed, and said “Nobody tells me anything… No one cares what I think anyway.”

P.S. I think I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Excuse the jaded posts…
