Glam is counting down the top 10 celebrity stories of 2007! From shocking pregnancies to jail stints to rehab-hopping, Hollywood went wild!

Britney Spears gives us more (or less?!?!) than we bargained for at the Video Music Awards. Her performance shocked and appalled the audience of celebrities (not to mention viewers at home).

Amy Winehouse. ‘Nuff said.

Naked photos of High School Musical sweetheart Vanessa Hudgens emerged on the internet… Rather than ignoring a very un-Disney situation, she apologized about the inappropriate pictures.

Nicole Richie was arrested for a DUI and sentenced to jail. (She only served 3 hours.) After much speculation, she also announced that she was pregnant with her boyfriend Joel Madden’s baby.

Anna Nicole Smith died of an overdose on February 8th. A custody battle (regarding the paternity) of her daughter Daniellynn followed shortly thereafter.

In late August, the usually upbeat and funny Owen Wilson (seen here with his brother) attempted suicide. Rumor had it that the incident was related to drug use.

In July, after a “successful” stay at a rehab facility, Linday Lohan promptly got her party back on, drank, and was in possession of drugs resulting in this lovely mugshot.

After a “that’s hot” minute in the slammer, Paris Hilton was freed with a hand-slap and a house-arrest sentence. However, a judge ordered her back to jail. The weeping heiress was dragged by her bleached blond hair back behind bars. *Photo via MSNBC

In February, Britney Spears gave herself an extreme makeover… Or should we say “unmakeover.” Brit-Brit went for the bald-eagle do.

Jamie Lynn Spears got knocked up!! Just a week or so ago, Britney’s 16-year-old sister (and star of the Nickelodeon show Zoey 101) announced that she was pregnant stunning her loyal audience of children and parents.

(Also, who knew these two gals were friends?!?)  Well, I suppose it sorta makes sense. Garner did marry (and then divorce) Felicity’s small screen boyfriend Scott Foley… I always forget that Jen was previously married…

Jennifer Garner and baby Violet went for a walk in brisk NYC today. I really have nothing to say about their venture except… well, I love everything about this duo. Jennifer is so down-to-earth. I love that she has the mommy-on-the-go bottle of water tucked into her unflatteringly poofy-but-practical jacket. I adore that she dresses her baby in silly floppy hats and faux-fur trimmed coats. And I think it’s great that she leaves the house sans makeup with a messy ponytail. I’m nominating Jennfer as the mom of the year… Who was your favorite celeb mom of 2007?

“[Tom’s other children are] incredible, really smart, and kind… They call me mom.” – Katie talks about her relationship with Cruises’s adopted children. Apparently they call her “mom.” Nicole Kidman recently admitted that her children refer to her by her first name. Did candid Katie say this to the mag as a slight dug to her hubbie’s ex-wife?

“Last year was Suri’s first Christmas. It was so spectacular to share the holidays with her… It really meant the world to me. To be able to create a tradition for your children is one of the best gifts you can have.” – Katie talks about Christmas with the Cruises.

GlamScene had a brief chat with the staggeringly sexy Adrian Grenier at the Charity: Water event. Wearing a dapper suit with a red tie, and Converse sneakers, he was the perfect blend of dashing gentleman and boyish cuteness. Here’s what he had to say…

What brings you to this event tonight?
I’m good friend with Scott Harrison and I admire what he’s done for this project, bringing clean drinking water to people who need it and not only giving them the water but giving them the means to have water throughout the year. Because they’re building wells to get clean water from the grounds. So there’s no abandoning it. It has longevity. It’s amazing.

What’s your New Year’s Resolution?
Just to give more to Charity: Water.
