We asked the cast of the Emmy-award winning sitcom 30 Rock what they’ll be giving their friends and family this holiday season. Here are their suggestions for when-in-doubt, fool-proof gifts to give to your loved ones… (Oh, and a few of them told me about the best holiday gift they’ve ever received!)

 When in doubt, I like to give people like Kiehl’s baskets or that kind of thing, because then you know they’ve used it up by the next Christmas, and you can give it to them again! - Tina Fey

Right now, I’m currently obsessed with anything in the Apple Store, so that’s my favorite place to go for all gifts. I’ve become kind of a gadget nerd at the moment, so anything I can give people that I love using –any of those gadget things.
People always think that I’m the girl who has everything [but I’m not].  So when I get simple things, [I’m happy]. My aunt gave me a drill and I was really thrilled with this drill because it’s something I actually needed. And I really needed a drill! I just moved to a new apartment. Lucy Liu once gave me a label-maker, and it’s one of my other favorite gifts I’ve ever gotten. I still use it today and I think of her every time I use it. It’s  one of the most practical gifts. -Jane Krakowski

I think hair or makeup products. Any kind of gift set from the department store. Maybe a Benefit makeup package or a couple lip glosses or something –for girls that is. I know every girl loves a new little makeup item!

Money! Money! - Keith Powell

Well this is going to sound pretty ridiculous. I have a gift of being able to find 4-leaf clovers, and they’re real. So you can laminate ‘em and stuff and give ‘em to people, and they go bananas for ‘em! And the good thing is I have quite a few, so I don’t have to seek ‘em out. I have ‘em stored up. Other than that, everyone loves a homemade card. - Jack McBrayer

Wow. I have to start thinking about that. The holiday is here. What’s  your’s? (GlamScene: Gift cards). I don’t really give gift cards. Last year I bought almost everything on the internet and I got a lot of funky, cool stuff. I have to get a go-to gift. I don’t really have one. 30 rock DVDs maybe. if NBC will give me a discount so i don’t have to buy them full price which is usually the deal! - Judah Friedlander

I think I piqued when I got a Fischer-Price doll house at 7-years-old. That might have been the apex. - Tina Fey

Oh God! Let’s see. That’s a great question. I’m not a big gift-getter. I give gifts. I love giving gifts. I gave my mother a portrait of her that she didn’t know about. She was very excited. That’s the gift I’ve given that I think is one of the most significant things. - Keith Powell
