I’m absolutely obsessed with Kate Beckinsale’s canary-yellow gown. It’s simply stunning. And her Van Cleef & Arpels baubles aren’t too shabby either.

*The Actor for Ensemble Cast in a Feature Film goes to No Country for Old Men.

*The award goes to Julie Christie, Away From Her,  for Best Actress in a Feature Film.

*And the winner for Best Actor in a Feature Film is Daniel Day Lewis.

*Best Actress in a Supporting Role goes to … Ruby Dee, American Gangster.

*Queen Latifah wins for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television Movie for her work in Life Support.

*Kevin Kline wins for Best Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie.

*The Best Ensemble Cast in a Comedy goes to …  The Office. Ensemble work at its best.

*Tina’s counterpart, Alec Baldwin wins for Best Actor in a Comedy. (But he’s not there to accept.) Boo.

*Yay!!! Tina Fey (AKA Liz Lemon) wins for Best Actress in a Comedy her hilarious work on 30 Rock. She gives a special thank you to her co-star Alec Baldwin: “If you’ve seen me in a scene with Alec Baldwin, it’s sorta like seeing Fred Astaire dance with a hat rack. And after a while you kinda think ‘ooo that hat rack isn’t so bad …’”

*Javier Bardem wins for Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film for his gritty performance in No Country for Old Men.

*Shall we predict who will win for Best Ensemble Cast in a Drama? … I’ll go with Sopranos! Duh. I was right! Gandolfini went up to the podium to accept the award, and poked fun at himself for giving a bad speech earlier in the evening. Gotta give him credit for calling himself out.

*Shocker. Not. (It is her third win! Fellow actors/voters love her.) Yep, Edie Falco gets the SAG for Best Actress in a Drama.

*James Gandolfini snags the first award of the night for Best Actor in a Drama Series. His speech was short and sweet. Actually, it wasn’t sweet at all. It was sorta boring and lame … and ungrateful. (But we do miss the Sopranos!)
