There are a quite a few reasons why I’m excited to see the movie Penelope … And no they don’t all have to do with Reese Witherspoon (though I admit she plays a large part in my enthusiasm.)

It looks really colorful, magical, and fun. Plus, the storyline is really sweet. Penelope stars Christina Ricci (and did I mention Reese Witherspoon)?!? It’s about a young girl who is cursed with the nose of pig. She must learn to overcome challenges and struggle in the ultimate pursuit of self discovery. Penelope comes to theaters on Feb. 29.  Sneak a peek at a few stills from the flick.
