Tonight I attended the launch party for Matthew McConaughey’s baby mama’s new handbag collection, MUXO at Kitson in Los Angeles.
When Matthew and Camila Alves finally arrived the press went wild. Professional photographers, paparazzi, press, and fans alike stormed his car! It was pure madness. When Matthew, wearing a casual denim button-down (I didn’t realize those were “in” again,) finally emerged from the car he was toting a baby carrier! … Guess he and the GF couldn’t find a babysitter!
A spy caught a glimpse of the bebe and said that he’s still wearing the newborn hospital bracelet. (That’s kinda weird, no?)
Anywho, inside (or rather outside on the party patio) the fete was hoppin’. The ambiance was shabby-chic-meets-hippie-cool-meets-bohemian-laid-back-fun!
The best part of the event is that they’ll soon be auctioning off celeb-signed MUXO bags. The proceeds will go to Stand Up 2 Cancer. Camila reached out to the org … Fab fashion, sizzling celebs, and a great cause … You can’t go wrong.
Unfortunately they jetted into the fete before my side of the press line could get interviews! But the baby-scoop is still pretty fun. ET managed to get an interview with the cute couple. Watch it HERE.
