Maroon 5’s Adam Levine is one sexy singer. He’s supposedly romanced the likes of Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, and many a Hollywood hottie. And now it all makes sense. Levine is one heck of a charmer. He certainly had me swooning at the Z100 Zootopia concert on Friday night. Here he talks to GlamScene about his would-be super power, his American Idol predictions, and his college drop out days.
What was it like performing on American Idol?
AL: It was surreal. I felt like they were going to judge me afterwards, and kick me out. It was cool!
Have you watched the show at all? Who do you want to win?
AL: As far as my choice… I have to go with Blake. He used to be a big fan of the band. He used to be - back in the day - playing his demos for us back in Seattle…Yeah. He was beat-boxing to all of us. It was very funny. I’ll never forget that. We used to call him B-Shorty. I’ll throw that out there. Embarrass him a little bit.
You studied music in college for a year. What kind of a student were you? Did it help you in your career?
AL: Uh. Think it helped me realize that I wasn’t diligent enough to be a successful college student. I wasn’t great. I got an F in guitar. Mark Golden was the teacher’s name. Mark Golden. Son of a bitch gave me an F.
If you had a super power, what would it enable you to do?
AL: Lower taxes!!! Just kidding. I don’t know what I would do… I probably would resign and let James Valentine rule the world. World peace.
