With two movies on the horizon, Jennifer Aniston not only graces the cover of the December issue of Vogue, but tells all when it comes to Brad Pitt, the new man in her life John Mayer, and what it means to be 40 in Hollywood.
On the end of her marriage – “I mean, in the end, we really had an amicable split. It wasn’t mean and hateful and all of this stuff that they tried to create about Brad can’t talk to Jen and Jen can’t talk to Brad because this person won’t allow it. It just didn’t happen. The marriage didn’t work out. And pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we’ve been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other. Whoever said everything has to be forever, that’s setting your hopes too high. It’s too much pressure. And I think if you put that pressure on yourself—because I did! Fairy tale! It has to be the right one!—that’s unattainable.”
On John Mayer – “We care about each other. It’s funny when you hit a place in a relationship and you both realize, we maybe need to do something else, but you still really, really love each other. It’s painful. There was no malicious intent. I deeply, deeply care about him; we talk, we adore one another. And that’s where it is.”
On turning 40 – “I’m not saying I’m 40. I’m 30-10. I don’t feel 40. I don’t know what it means. I just know that all of a sudden it’s something that’s in print next to my name. AND NOW SHE’S 40. It almost feels like some sort of badge of honor in a weird way.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt welcomed a son, Knox Leon, and daughter, Vivienne Marcheline, on Saturday in Nice, France.
“The babies are doing well. The opersation went just perfectly,” confirmed Angelina’s doctor. “Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well … It was an epidural, so [Angelina[ was awake and speaking and laughing. They were happy."
This makes babies number five and six for the happy couple. They join Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2.

I don’t know… Maybe it’s just this photo, but it looks to me like Pax isn’t having such a great time sitting on daddy’s lap driving around New Orleans in an ATV. Pitt and his son took the wild (and seemingly unpleasant) ride on the Right Development site on Dec. 31.
