Carmen and her entourage have a mini-conference in the corner about the “scandal!”

Carmen Electra arrived at the runway show, held at the NY Public Library, wearing an adorable Jill Stuart retro-inspired purple dress, and black patent leather short boots. Okay, no scandal… yet.

Alison Brod PR, the firm that was handling publicity for the show, had not one, not two, not three, but FOUR of its own employees racing around with their all important head-gear… wearing the exact same dress as Carmen!!!! Electra’s PR rep was flipping out, and escorted Carmen away from the photographers, away from the press, and out of the building - before the show even started!

Later, at the Luca Luca show, Carmen gave us her take on the “fashion scandal!” Here’s what she had to say: “I think it happens. I think - you know - that’s the way it is sometimes. I loved it though. I thought it was a great ’60s style little dress, and I was looking for the perfect opportunity to wear the boots with the dress. Um. I loved the color! AInd then  ran off to Full Frontal Fashion and I’m working away - now i’m here at Luca Luca.”

Carmen Electra had a blast on the beach this weekend at the Polaroid House in Malibu, California.

The bikini-clad bombshell, who taught us how to be sexy, played with puppies in the sand, cooed over babies, and participated in chicken-fights with friends. Staged for the paparazzi? Perhaps… (But charming and adorable nevertheless.)

WHAT: Carmen Electra’s “How to Be Sexy” Book Signing. 

WHEN: Yesterday afternoon.

POPULATION: Dirty, creepy old men; seemingly normal, but actually-maniacal-Carmen-wannabe-fanatics… (and very, very SANE me!… Okay, I do have a girl crush on her. But I didn’t stoop to buying the book, begging for an autograph, or beseeching her for a photo!… I’m way too uncool for that silly stuff.)

HIGHLIGHT: Oh how do I pick just one!!! Here’s the top 3:
• Sweaty man handing her roses.
• Sweaty man handing her a Carmen caricature he drew.
• Sweaty girl begging Carmen to take her perfume, after Carmen complimented her scent. “No, really!!! KEEP it Carmen! I WANT you to have it!” Side note: Did she carry around her perfume in hopes Carmen would comment?

CE: Yeah, it’s basically a fun way of sort of embracing your own inner sexiness. And you know I feel lucky because I’ve been in this business for a long time, and I’ve been and able to pick up - you know - and learn some tips along the way. And now I get to share some fun beauty tips with the girls. So it’s really cool!
