Carrie Underwood was the big winner last night at the American Music Awards. The sweet southern belle took home three trophies. Her fellow AI contestant, Chris Daughtry, also snagged three awards.
Carrie looks absolutely adorable, sweet, and sexy in a refined white frock. But doesn’t it look incredibly similar to the dress she wore to Fashion Rocks (see below.) A little bit of fashion de ja vu…? Not exactly, but apparently cute Carrie knows what works for her, and doesn’t experiment too much.

GlamScene caught up with the always adorable and charming Carrie Underwood at the Max Azria runway show. Here’s what she had to say…
I saw you perform at Fashion Rocks last night, and you were amazing. What was it like to perform with such a phenomenal group of artists?
Thank you! It was a lot of fun. I wish I got the opportunity to actually sit down and watch the show because there were so many great people on stage and most of the time you spend getting ready and things like that. But for once it’s not a live show so I can watch it tonight. I’m excited.
Are you wearing Max Azria? What do you love about the line?
I am. I love it because pretty much everything looks good. And the clothes are made for normal people. He’s a designer that I know that I can go to for anything. So it’s a good standard to have. Everything looks great
How do you stay healthy and in shape?
I try my best to eat as good as I can – eat as healthy as I can. I exercise probably at least four times a week.
What’s one thing you think people would be surprised to know about you?
Oh Geez. That’s always really tough. I think pretty much everyone knows pretty much everything there is to know about Carrie Underwood. I play on a softball team back home We have a big group of people, and we go play softball once a week.
Describe your personal style.
When I’m offstage – easy and comfortable. But I like to try different things when I’m going out and going to award shows. I try to keep things as classy as I can, of course. But I like to play a little bit. And I feel like the more I do this, the more I can play and funk things up and have fun with them.
Who is one of your idols?
Gwen Stefani. She is a music icon, a culture icon and a style icon. I think she just does a great job of balancing everything and she always looks great.

Oh… I didn’t want to leave you hanging about event numero dos from last night. (Remember, the party invite that looked like a prescriptiong pad?!?!?) Sadly, I have no great exclusive scoop to report on from the opening of D’or at the Amalia – (besides the delicious apps and freebie champagne, of course!!) No celeb sightings… Though buzz at the lounge was that Carrie Underwood was looming around. (Doubtful… I looked everywhere!!!) Nevertheless, it’s a pretty fab locale! Can’t wait to have dinner there. Check it out!
