Kevin Connolly must have a “thing” for lesser-famous sisters. First he dates Nicky Hilton… and now Haylie Duff!?!?

Kev and Hay hung out last night after a romantic(al) dinner at Bella in Hollywood.

But wait. It gets even weirder. The puzzling pair later met up with Beverly Mitchell (that’s right… from 7th Heaven.) The tacky trio was spied driving around town and having a blast.

So I realize this is NOT the “Kevin Connolly GlamScene Blog,” but I do have ONE more gossipy tidbit on the adorable Entourage sidekick!

Last night, Kevin partied at NYC’s Aspen lounge to promote his film Gardener of Eden. Since it’s his directorial debut (and a small indie picture,) he was shocked to see how many crews, reporters, and paparazzi packed their way into the faux ski lodge hotspot.

And Kevin was right. There was a lot of people there. Too many people! In fact so many crews plugged in at once that Aspen couldn’t handle it… and a fuse blew!

Kevin just laughed and asked the staff if there was anything he could do to help. The rest of the cast was there as well, including Erika Christensen, Lukas Haas, and Jon Abrahams.

• Starring: Lukas Haas, Erika Christensen

When: Premiered last night as part of the Tribeca Film Festival…which sadly I was unable to attend. (Mainly sad because Leo showed and I missed him.) Today was the press conference.  (Leo was a no-show… but I was there!) Stay tuned later for lots of inside deets, quotes, and interviews with Kevin Connolly and Lukas Haas…

Here are some observations to hold you over. Enjoy!

Kevin Connolly was acting like a happy and eager little kid eating ice cream at the press conference for his film The Gardener of Eden. His legs and feet were bouncing up and down with jumpy excitement. (Unfortunately for him the leg bouncing was only drawing further attention to his need for longer pants and/or higher socks. FYI: A man in trousers with seriously exposed ankle skin/leg hair is a no-no in my book.)

Kevin took the brunt of his ADHD out on a the microphone stand. He kept fiddling and playing with it. He definitely chilled out a bit as time went on and as he mastered the questions that were shouted out his way.

When the conference was over he took the time to pose with fans for pictures, make small talk, and shake fans’ hands.

He then headed straight over to the concession stand, (the conference was held at a movie theater) where he ordered a small popcorn and soda. Hmmm… On second thought…. perhaps he was jittery from low-blood sugar!!

My opinions:

• Vince is hot.
• “E” is a ador.

My predictions:

• Duh. Ari will win Vince back by the end of the season!
• Double Duh. Carla Gugino’s character (AKA Vince’s pretty new manager) is gonna get with someone! But who?!?

Happy Friday!

I am so excited for the weekend…

And not because I still get a basket full of goodies from the “Easter Bunny” (slash my mom.) And not because I will finally have time to do some laundry (slash bring a hamper full of dirty clothes to my parents’ house on Long Island for the “Easter Bunny” to take care of.) And not because I want to lounge around in my typical Sunday afternoon fashion… Nope. I’m psyched for the weekend for a very different reason than the usual work week woes… Why is that?

That’s right! Entourage, baby! Everyone’s favorite fictional boys are back. This is Hollywood at its hottest! If you haven’t yet caught on to the series or if you don’t have HBO… then I highly suggest you either join the entourage or subscribe to Time Warner.

Last night, was the L.A. premiere of the third season at the Cinerama Dome Theater… followed by an after party at Hollywood Hot Spot, Social Hollywood.

Attendees included:

Adrian Grenier - AKA Vince. AKA Aqua Man. Love love love him… He’s so hot. Remember when he wasn’t so hot in that horrible teen movie opposite Melissa Joan Hart?!?
Kevin Connolly AKA Eric. AKA Nicky Hilton’s former flame. He’s such a cute little guy.
Kevin Dillon AKA Drama… Art imitating life in its finest form (He’s Matt Dillon’s bro.)
Jerry Ferrara AKA Turtle… I just want to hug him.
Debi Mazar AKA Loud-mouthed-publicist Shauna.
Jeremy Piven AKA Ari… Need I say more? Even if you haven’t seen the show. You know about him.
Perrey Reeves AKA Mrs. Ari.
Rex Lee AKA Lloyd. AKA Ari’s Bitch.

Other Noteworthy Attendees:
Mark Wahlberg was yummy as always. He is the executive producer of Entourage, which is supposedly based on his L.A. life.
Jamie-Lynn Sigler looked simply stunning and angelic in a pretty white dress.
Hilary & Haylie Duff both looked sophisticated clad in all black. (But Hilary: Do go blond again!)
Carla Gugino was a bombshell in a satin red gown.
Alessandra Ambrosio was looking sexy as ever!
Mary J Blige looked polished and chic in her cropped white pants and Gucci belt.
Ginnifer Goodwin was absolutely adorable in her polka dot dress. (She stars in another much-loved-by-me HBO series!)
Laura Prepon was looking a little Plain Jane if you ask me (which you didn’t.)

Okay… That’s all I have to say. PSYCHED!
