Mandy Moore + Guess Who = True Love???

Apparently Miss Mandy Moore, 27,  has been cozying up to everyone’s favorite 38-year-old  friend, Matthew Perry. The two were spotted on a date at Amici Trattoria in Beverly Hills. According to a source, “He was already seated and waiting for her for 15 minutes until she arrived. He stood up to greet her and gave her a kiss on the cheek.” Supposedly the duo held hands throughout the meal…

Evangeline Lilly - Dominic Monaghan = Splitzville

Evangeline Lilly and her Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan (I hold true that he didn’t really die on the show) have apparently split up. A source saw Dominic getting intimate with an anonymous woman at El Coyote restaurant in L.A.

George Clooney + Fabio = Fist Fight???

Gorgeous George Clooney was out dining with his girlfriend Sarah Larsen at Madeo. They had the misfortune of being seated next to Fabio and his crew of gal-pals. One of his friends started snapping photos of their group, and George naturally thought that she was photographing him. Fabio went up to George’s table and explained the situation, by saying “stop being such a diva.” This resulted in a pushing and shoving fight. (I’d put my money on George any day.)

Heath Ledger + Michelle Williams = Loving (But Still Separated) Parents

Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams will be designing two identical bedrooms for the daughter Matilda in each of their respective homes. (Williams remains in Brooklyn, while Ledger has moved to SoHo.) They want the rooms to look exactly the same so that Matilda will always feel comfortable and at home.

In a recent interview, Mandy Moore told us that she looooved Rihanna’s Umbrella… “Man alive that’s such a great song,” she said.

Well, little Miss Mandy, who was spotted lunching with John Mayer yesterday, just took her Umbrella affinity to a new level. Watch her perform her cover of the hit summer song on Yahoo Music.

Mandy Moore, sparkled in a gold pleated IISLI dress, on Saturday in the Hamptons. She was there hosting the Bridgehampton polo challenge event, sponsored by Mercedes Benz.

Moore told Glam that she hops over to the Hamptons whenever she can. “I don’t get here too often. I just sneak out whenever my friends are coming. Like, ‘oh I could use a little Hamptons weekend.’” The classy, classic starlet hammed it up for the cameras, playfully posing with the trophy, attempting a swing with a polo club, sipping on her Evian bottle, chitchatting with Greg Bello, and watching the action unfold before her at the Hamptons tournament. Previous weeks’ hosts include Debra Messing and Brooke Shields.

Moore loves to summer on the beach and listening to music. And her other hot-weather hobbies: “shop a little bit, get food, read, just chill out.” She says she stays in shape “like everybody else. Dressed in Mblem, her signature line, Mandy Moore was full of pep and personality, posing for paparazzi at the 10th Annual Super Saturday shopping event in the Hamptons. The sweet young starlet stopped to chat with a few reporters. Here’s what she had to say…

Are you prepared to fight for your fashion finds today?
Fights? Nobody warned me about that… I don’t think I’m going to get into any fights. I’m not a fighter… I would probably pout, but that’s it.

Are you shopping for anything or anyone in particular today?
No, not really. Just gonna walk around; probably people watch more than anything.

Do you frequent the Hamptons?
Yeah. I don’t get out here too often. I just sneak out whenever my friends are coming. Like “oh I could use a little Hamptons weekend.”

What are you favorite summer destinations?
Ideal summer spots? Um. Probably somewhere on a beach; reading, listening to music. That’s ideal right now. Somewhere that a little cooler, and less humid.

What kind of things do you do for fun?
Like shop a little bit, get food, read, just chill out.

How do you stay in shape?
I don’t know. Like everybody else. Everything in moderation. Drinking lots of water, I think, definitely helps. Getting sleep.

What kind of music do you like? What’s on your iPod?
Probably like everybody else. I love Umbrella. And I don’t really gravitate toward like top 40 music, but man alive that’s such a great song.

What’s your take on all the Hollywood girls who are finding themselves in trouble with the law. You’re such a role model. How do you stay out of that whole scene?
I don’t really know. I guess I could foundationally just attribute it to family. I have a great family and great parents. I have wonderful people in my life. I don’t think that whole scene really interests me – which I guess I feel kind of lucky about. Like I want to do the work, and then I want to go home at the end of the day. It’s not really my cup of tea… It’s a responsibility that I think about, and it’s something that I take quite seriously. But at the same time I also feel lucky that I’m just able to be myself and people can see that and respect that. It’s not like I’m going out of my way to do something or not to do something.  But it is something that I think about. I think if I were on the other side of the coin, and I weren’t necessarily in the industry, I would want people in a positive way to represent themselves, and having that to look up to. You have to have both ends of the spectrum.

Mandy Moore looked gorgeous in a green grecian gown last night at the L.A. premiere of her film License to Wed.

The beautiful belle might have tripped over the words to her first hit song, Candy, but she certainly hasn’t forgotten about her sense of style, inner confidence, and ever-evolving beauty.

Also at the event were co-stars Robin Williams and John Krasinski, plus funny man Ben Stiller and his wife Christine Taylor, who apparently wasn’t green with envy, because she, too, wore an emerald-colored dress.
