Okay, so when I said in an earlier post that I had a quote from Sarah Jessica… I guess I was exaggerating. I mean, when I press “play” on my nifty voice recorder, I do hear her speak… but I can’t so much make out the words she’s saying.

In reality, only one reporter was able to snag her for a verrrrry brief Q&A. (That reporter, sadly, was not me.) And, I tried to be a sneaky little blogger, and record the other guy’s interview, but karma kicked me in the butt, and I can barely even make out bits and pieces of their conversation. (I wasn’t close to the guy who was talking to her… so I had to go-go-gadget my arm to try and record it. Apparently, it didn’t work out so well.)

What I can make out is rather boring… “Took my son to school and then I was in meetings all day.” Yep. That’s all I can hear her say on the recorder.

It’s not like I didn’t try. As she and her hubby (I HEART FERRIS, P.S.) ran by after her solo interview, I screamed out, “Sarah!!! Can you tell me about your new clothing line?!?!?” And, to her credit, she did look straight at me and say “Nooooo.” (But she said it in that sweet apologetic kind of tone.) Who could blame her? She probs didn’t want to discuss her new collection Bitton. After all, it has been mocked and knocked already in the press… and I suppose she is trying to maintain some mystery. Oh, well. Lesson learned.

So, I’m off to two events tonight. (It’s tough being popular!)

First stop is the red carpet at the Broadway premiere of the show Curtains… which sounds HILARIOUS by the way! (I heart musicals!… Seriously, I drive people crazy with my show tune obsession.) Anyway, expected attendees include Miss SJP and her cute chubby-hubby Matthew Broderick, Anne Hathaway, Kelly Ripa and a few more VIPs! I’ll do my best to snag some great interviews and take some good pics! (Check back tomorrow morn for the scoop.)

Second stop is the grand opening of the brand new haute spot, D’Or at the Amalia. I went there for the Zac Posen fashion show after party and it was awesome! (And that was before the place was even finished!) So, in a word I’m PSYCHED! Bloody Social will be performing AKA Sienna Miller’s new boyfriend! I’ll report on the scene tomorrow… TTYL!
