Paris and Nicky Hilton were out and about yesterday doing what heiresses do best: spending daddy’s (not-so) hard-earned cash. Before their afternoon shopping spree, the flighty duo met up with pregnant pal Nicole Richie for lunch. Later, the sisters hit up boutiques like Room Service and Christian Louboutins for shoes. They then went to the Photographers Gallery where they each purchased some artwork. Finally, they had an early dinner at Toast restaurant.

Here’s a peek at Nicky Hilton‘s fashion collection “Nicholai.” It’s everything you’d expect from one of the Hilton sisters – cute, frilly, sexy and sorta (read: definitely) cheesy. 

When Nicky waltzed out on the runway to receive her praise, she seemed really pleased. She then proceeded to throw her arms up in the air and dance her way backstage.

P.S. Only in a show like Nicholai (or maybe Heatherette) would you expect to hear catcalls, whistles, “whoops” and “yeahhhhs” when the lights go out signifying the show’s start!

Holy Mother of Paris… This Lady LOVES Her Bling!

Oh to be the Hilton matriarch… to drape your body in luxurious fabrics, and bedazzle your neck in glittery jewels! I suppose if I were Kathy… I, too, would use diamond therapy to alleviate the stress induced by my rowdy and rambunctious daughters… And Kathy Hilton does know how to sparkle.

I caught up with the refined and regal Mrs. Hilton at the Women’s Project of Achievement Gala. (In fact, the occasion was in her honor!) She was able to squeeze in a brief chat with me before the schmoozefest commenced!

Who makes your fabulous blazer?

This is actually jewelry. It’s not about a designer. It’s a jewelry designer. It’s like 3,000 carats of diamonds.

Who are your favorite designers?

Let me see. Well, I absolutely love Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Louis Vuitton…

You’re a very busy woman. How do you ensure that an outfit is versatile to go from day to night?

Just put on a nice black blazer. If I had bigger purse… I’d put on a more casual necklace [to dress down.]  I like wearing fun, long chains.

What’s your beauty secret?

Ten hours of sleep.

Most coveted beauty products?

Estee Lauder – I’m loving. I love the concealer, which I have on. I like Trish McEvoy. The Double Wear by Estee Lauder is fantastic.

What are the girls up to these days?

Nicky is very busy with her new clothing line.

And Paris? She’s still filming the upcoming season of the Simple Life, right?

She called me the other day and she was like, “Mom, you’re not gonna believe what they had us do…”

It is funny watching her go through all that stuff?

Yes. We can all identify with a good friend growing up. I think that’s what the success of the show is all about.

So, what is it that they had Paris doing?

Oh! I can’t tell you! You will not believe it!
