Carrie Bradshaw and the gals are out and about in New York City… And it looks like their real-life counterparts may have just filmed one of the most important scene’s in the Sex and the City movie!

Oh, how I’ve missed you two!
Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth reunited in Manhattan to start filming the Sex and the City movie… Looks like Carrie Bradshaw hasn’t missed a fashion beat since we last saw her back in 2004. (And check out her adorable Eiffel Tower bag - probably a souvenier from her brief stint in Paris!)

Sarah Jessica Parker launched her new fragrance Covet today at Macy’s Herald Square store. (Here she is getting her neck sniffed by a Macys and/or Coty executive.)
India at GlamBlush recently blogged about Covet, gave her editor’s stamp of approval, and even provided a peek at the French-inspired commercial featuring SJP as a beauty burglar on the prowl for a must-have fragrance. A seemingly possessed Parker cries out “I just had to have it” as the Parisian police throw the chic fashionista in a dank and dark cell.
This commercial has been the buzz over here in the East Coast Glam office – where a few of the edit ladies have been politely feuding in our corner pod over how much we absolutely hate (or love – bah!) this advertisement. Clearly, I’m of the former argument.
I want to know: what do you think of this commercial? How do you think SJP looks? And speaking of Parker’s perfume, here’s an apropos question: Of all the celebrities with signature scents, who do you most want to smell like?
I realize this is sort of an odd/creepy question to throw out there… but in this age of celebrity spokeswomen, there is a plethora of leading ladies turned “perfumers” (i.e. Sarah Jessica, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, etc. Plus men have celebrity-inspired scents too: Alan Cumming (no lie) … need I say more?) And I’m just wondering… does anyone actually want to dab on a celebrities’ scent?

Okay, so when I said in an earlier post that I had a quote from Sarah Jessica… I guess I was exaggerating. I mean, when I press “play” on my nifty voice recorder, I do hear her speak… but I can’t so much make out the words she’s saying.
In reality, only one reporter was able to snag her for a verrrrry brief Q&A. (That reporter, sadly, was not me.) And, I tried to be a sneaky little blogger, and record the other guy’s interview, but karma kicked me in the butt, and I can barely even make out bits and pieces of their conversation. (I wasn’t close to the guy who was talking to her… so I had to go-go-gadget my arm to try and record it. Apparently, it didn’t work out so well.)
What I can make out is rather boring… “Took my son to school and then I was in meetings all day.” Yep. That’s all I can hear her say on the recorder.
It’s not like I didn’t try. As she and her hubby (I HEART FERRIS, P.S.) ran by after her solo interview, I screamed out, “Sarah!!! Can you tell me about your new clothing line?!?!?” And, to her credit, she did look straight at me and say “Nooooo.” (But she said it in that sweet apologetic kind of tone.) Who could blame her? She probs didn’t want to discuss her new collection Bitton. After all, it has been mocked and knocked already in the press… and I suppose she is trying to maintain some mystery. Oh, well. Lesson learned.

I am so very glad that I made it in time for arrivals to the premiere of Curtains on Broadway. I was running late and was halfway tempted to skip out. Good thing I didn’t. It was an amazing celebrity turnout. We’re talking everyone from Danny DeVito to Kelly Ripa to Nathan Lane to Sarah Jessica Parker!
Slight hiccup. There was momentary pandemonium when it started to rain! It literally poured for 60 seconds, and then stopped. But those 60 seconds were filled with pure panic for the publicists, photographers, reporters and red carpet VIPs! Everyone just started screaming and running and searching for cover. (Everyone except for me of course.) A little rain (translation: a LOT of rain) wasn’t going to deter me when I saw that Jane Krakowski, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos were all passing by. (Granted… they, too, were bolting for cover - so no Q&As from them - but I did manage to get a couple of pics.
The rain suddenly stopped and things returned to normal… well, as normal as a red carpet can possibly be! So stay tuned throughout the next couple of days for celebrity interviews (and photos) with Mary Louise Parker and her beautiful, handsome specimen of a boyfriend, Jeffrey Dean Morgan (aka Denny on Grey’s Anatomy.) Plus, quotes from SPJ, Nathan Lane and a whole lot more… all from the premiere of Curtains! Here’s a couple of pics to hold you over…

So, I’m off to two events tonight. (It’s tough being popular!)
First stop is the red carpet at the Broadway premiere of the show Curtains… which sounds HILARIOUS by the way! (I heart musicals!… Seriously, I drive people crazy with my show tune obsession.) Anyway, expected attendees include Miss SJP and her cute chubby-hubby Matthew Broderick, Anne Hathaway, Kelly Ripa and a few more VIPs! I’ll do my best to snag some great interviews and take some good pics! (Check back tomorrow morn for the scoop.)
Second stop is the grand opening of the brand new haute spot, D’Or at the Amalia. I went there for the Zac Posen fashion show after party and it was awesome! (And that was before the place was even finished!) So, in a word I’m PSYCHED! Bloody Social will be performing AKA Sienna Miller’s new boyfriend! I’ll report on the scene tomorrow… TTYL!
