It’s almost lunchtime. I’m hungry and it doesn’t help that I’ve been finding some mouth-watering recipes around the web.
Here are just a few that I would love to try:
Salmon Burgers with Dill Sauce from Organic Authority.
Lively Women’s Peanut Butter Rice Pudding.
Homemade Hummus and Zucchini Balls from Veggie Chic.
Grilled Mahi Mahi with Chipotle Salsa from iFitandHealthy.
Plums from my tree for the Glam crew
As a general rule, it’s best to eat things that are fresh and in-season for your local environment. Go visit a local farmer’s market and find garden gems. Or better yet, grow things yourself. I’m fortunate that I have a plum tree that exploded with the most juicy deep purple fruit this summer. My morning begins when I take a step outside, pluck one from the tree, and savor it’s sweet juiciness. I take a deep breath and remember that I am of the earth.
We are all children of the earth. Good food is just one way to bring us home.
