The Spa at La-Residencia, Mallorca

A few short weeks ago, I visted the Spa at La-Residencia Hotel. The spa is nestled on a hillside in Mallorca, away from the crowds of Palma, amidst olive and citrus trees. It has attracted celebrities such as Michael Douglas, Harrison Ford and Goldie Hawn.

The spa offers cutting edge treatments such as Aura-Som, a color-based consultation where colors are used to delve into your personality and who you are.

And the spa’s signature treatment, “Citrus Siesta” was a gentle salt scrub followed by hydrating massage. This treatment uses local produce: olive oil body scrub and an almond, lemon and orange moisturizer. It was delightful.
