One of the best ways to nourish your skin is to drink plenty of water. Water assists the body with it’s natural elimination process by flushing unwanted toxins out.
Did you know? Crankiness and irritability are some of the first signs that a person is dehydrated. A good thing to tell your sweety next time either one of you gets a little crabby. or better yet, say nothing and just give ‘em a little agua.
TIP #1
Keep a never-ending supply of water at your desk at work or wherever you spend most of your time. I like to mix things up with a little sparkling water or a slice of lemon or orange or cucumber on days that I want to pamper myself.
TIP#2
For a little added pampering at work, try a hydrating mist.
My secret weapon that I keep stored in my desk drawer is Shu Uemura Hydrating Mist:
For air travel, since I rarely check a bag, here’s something small enough to fit into my little ziplock bag:
Jurlique Aromamist Travel Blend,
or Pampering Blend

For shiny hair, be sure to eat foods rich in omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids, such as cold-water fish (salmon, mackerel, tuna), dark-green vegetables, flax seed oil, hemp oil, and pumpkin seed oil.
You can also whip up one of these homemade treatments:
Combine 1 c. water with 4 T. apple cider vinegar, massage into your scalp after your regular shampoo, and rinse with cool water.
Combine 1 c. warm water with 2 T. honey, massage the treatment into your scalp, and with cool water

I m 27 years old. My problem is mine open pores.I have oily sikn.
Michele | 25-Feb-08 at 11:04 am | Permalink
Piya,
Since you work in the sun I would definately recommend wearing a face lotion that has and SPF (sun protective factor) of at least 15. This will protect your skin from getting darker and the onset of sun spots. I would also check out the great Origins product! Its awesome and you will see great results immediately. Good luck! Princess Grace,
Here is a link to some helpful homeade face masks, try one of these out for radiant skin! Natural Beauty
Rebecca | 25-Feb-08 at 1:07 pm | Permalink
Hello Princess Grace,
Generally speaking I wouldn’t use any products on a baby’s skin. Just the mildest soap on the market for keeping them clean and that’s it.
Hope that helps,
~Rebecca
