I adore this beautiful book by Danny Seo. It’s called Simply Green Giving. I highly recommend you get this book before the holidays. I’m going to give away my copy to a random commenter on this post. So just leave me a comment below and you could get this free little gift from me.
In it you’ll find innovative ideas for organic wrappings, gift tags, bows and green gifts. How ingenius - use unwanted office supplies for gift wrap (pg 55)…

or pack your gift boxes with sprigs of pine or peanuts (pg 22)…
Check out Seo’s scented bows (pg 65), wood-grained containers (pg 24)
office copy-room recycling (pg 55), or woodland-topped boxes (pg 26).
The other added benefit to being “simply green” is the fact that all of these tricks are quick, easy, and very inexpensive (if not free)!

What a great gift idea! i am using my kids artwork (all the art they bring home and i don’t know what to do with) and using them to wrap Christmas presents this year!

The waste left behind after giving some gifts hardly make them seem like gifts! I love the ideas I’ve been able to find online. Not only is there less waste, gift giving seems more personal and less generic!

I recently collaged a box with pictures from a meditation catalogue. It was so satisfying that I wrote about it in my blog. The birthday girl was ecstatic!
