Have you ever carefully watched how much sugar you consume in a day? Sugar is a mega calorie culprit as well as a candida culprit because it feeds yeast in the body. If you’ve ever had a yeast infection chances are you have too much yeast in the body and it is multiplying as you feed it with all the sweet stuff.
One of the many things to go on my list was over-sweetened fruit flavored yogurt. You can make your own yummy yogurt by taking plain organic yogurt and adding a spoonful (or even less) of your favorite fruit preserve. VoilĂ !
If you love your morning brew, whether it’s a latte or otherwise, see if there are less sugary alternatives. I recently discovered the Chai Tazo (tea bag) tea at Starbucks. I now order my Chai tea with a splash of soy rather than the uber-sugary Soy Chai made with pre-mixed chai and lots of sweetened soy milk.
Do you have any sugar reduction strategies that you can share?
