On Mondays we share our ideas to help you kick-start your week!

Staying present while you eat is one of the essential keys to eating well. It is also, by the way, one of the greatest joys of life. In Japanese culture, it is customary to begin and end each meal with gratitude with two very eloquent phrases:
Itadakimasu = I gratefully receive
Gochisoosama = Thank you for the meal
This week, no matter what language you speak or which words you use, try starting and ending your meals with these sentiments. When you are present and grateful for your meal, eating transforms into an entirely new and wonderful experience.
