I wait all year for summer. Sure, I love all of the seasons (and especially the change of seasons), but summer is, by far, my favorite. Here is a list of the reasons why I love the sunniest time of the year:

• The sun is out!
• BBQ’s galore
• Lounging at the pool
• The smell of fresh, cut grass
• Children laughing and playing outside
• Long walks on the beach
• Ice cream and popsicles
• Outdoor dining
• Lazing in the shade
• Hammocks
• Cherries, Plums, Peaches, and Berries
• Vacations
• Fireworks
• Tank tops and flip flops (my favorite attire)
