The big day has arrived and Rebecca and I are covering the Women’s Conference 2008 in hot and sunny Long Beach, CA. The conference is packed - what a turnout! The energy here is brilliant and non-stop! It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of excitement, and I’m happy to have a moment to collect my thoughts.
To that point, I’d like to share a quick tidbit from Deborah Norville’s speech this morning. In it, she likened life to a Jaccuzzi, saying: if you drop your keys in a Jaccuzzi it’s nearly impossible to find them. At least, until you turn off the jets; then it all becomes clear. I just loved that visual as a metaphor. Take a minute from your day to “turn off the jets” and feel free to share any insights in the comments!
