TGiF! Enjoy this week’s eco-friendly tidbit…
As I drive past beautifully decorated houses that radiate holiday cheer, I can’t help but feel a bit envious. After all, I didn’t put up lights this year, or even get a tree.
That’s why I was really excited to find The Cardboard Tree. Just 3 feet tall, and conveniently packaged flat (for storage purposes of course), the tree is made from recycled cardboard and comes with a variety of cardboard ornaments for you to decorate with.
Also, a portion of the profits is given to Arbor Day Foundation’s reforestation program, Trees for America. That means for each dollar donated, a tree will be planted. So if you’re still looking for eco-friendly decorations, or just needing something festive, The Cardboard Christmas Tree is an easy and fun solution.

Ohh christine – I actually really love this tree! I haven’t got one this year either and while it’s too late to ship one all the way to australia, i am going to file this away for future reference! cute

Such a good idea. Our store actually takes part in the reforestation program. Every dollar spent in our store plants one tree. Thousands have been planted so far and counting.
