As temperatures dipped for New York Fashion week, the editors, designers, socialites and models traded in their skirts and dresses for jeans. And the jean of choice for the fashionistas: Earnest Sewn.
Whether back stage or sitting front row, models, celebrities, designers and socialites where all clad in the latest fits from the New York based cult denim label, Earnest Sewn. Julianne Moore paired her tapered leg faded grey jeans with black boots and a blue jacket. Ashley Olsen wore her slim tapered Harlan 18 jeans with a fur vest. Katharine McPhee wore the brands classic 5 pocket boot cut fit in a clean wash, and the Sopranos Drea de Matteo wore Decca 06 straight leg jean tucked into high boots.
Socialite Tinsley Mortimer wore her favorite pair of Harlan 18 jeans with Dolce & Gabbana button front boots, while Amanda Cutter Brooks debuted the same style at the Vera Wang show. Girl about town, Olivia Palermo, also wore the popular Harlan 18 style, fitted under high boots, as did Olivia Chantecaille, Jennifer Creel and Zani Gugelmann. Fabiola Beracasa and Jessica Joffe opted for the Decca straight leg style to wear with shoe boots, while Ferebee Bishop and Annelise Peterson wore the new LC 98 grey super slim model jean.
Nylon editor Dani Stahl paired her Lia Sophia Jewels with the Esra 87 zip ankle style. And as for the boys, writer Derek Blasberg wore Rotten 71 grey jeans, while The Daily Mini editor Peter Davis wore his signature Fulton XX raw denim straight leg jeans.
A gaggle of models at the Oscar De La Renta show arrived backstage also in the new LC jeans, inspired by the custom fit made for the labels super model clients such as Karolina Kurkova, Alek Wek and Heidi Klum with a super slim leg and extra long inseam. Jessica Stam opted for the LC fit in the black metal wash, as did models Le Call, Lisa Seiffert, and Marta Berzkalna.
Aside from the attendees and models wearing Earnest Sewn, the designers also chose Earnest Sewn jeans as their outfit of choice for show night. Zac Posen in his staple Fulton 06 style, Jack McCoullough of Proenza Schouler in the new Kyree slim smoke grey cord, Derek Lam in Fulton 50, Benjamin Cho in the slim black Kyrre 80 style, and Charlotte Ronson in Harlan 18.
From classic uptown style, to downtown tastemakers and trendsetters, Earnest Sewn’s innovative fits and authentic washes were a staple in everyone’s wardrobe this Fashion week.
