Everybody’s favorite denim line, Earnest Sewn, is joining Helios House (BP’s new eco-friendly gas station in Los Angeles) by designing the uniforms for the new innovative and energy conscious pumping station. These aren’t your average gas-station duds, these threads are eco-friendly as well. Earnest Sewn developed a specific water treatment program that takes dirty river water, cleans and purifies it, puts it into the wash cycle, and then retreats the water to a point where it is in a much better state than before. The design aspect reflects that of the1950’s gas station attendant’s uniform with familiar lines, lightweight fabric, and added details such as a defined collar and buttoned cuffs on the sleeves and pant legs. The clean crisp color pallet, the fabric choice, and the fresh look will definitely entice customers to start thinking about energy conservation.
