J.Crew Collection recently opened the doors to its new store at 1035 Madison Ave . The boutique seems to mimic the interior of a Park Avenue apartment with gilded details, fine art, and soft homey touches. Plus it offers more than the brand’s simple cashmere sweaters,  flip flops and comfy flats; the one-of-a-kind boutique will be stocked with limited edition designs.  Jenna Lyons Mazeau, J.Crew’s creative director designed the space, which will provide unique services such as home delivery (complimentary with purchases of $300 or more), complimentary house calls and persistence in securing hard to find items. Additionally the store will maintain its preppy core, offering discounts to college students. Stepping inside 1035 Madison is a glimpse into the upper echelons of New York society.  ~Nola Weinstein
