Since it’s debut in 1989, The Sak handbag has seduced with it’s one-of-a-kind textures and textiles, most notably its tightweave knit which quickly became it’s signature fabrication. Frida Kahlo is one of the most influential female artists of the 20th Century. Even though her paintings often expressed sadness, loneliness, despair, sexual confusion, and extreme depression, the end result has been widely accepted and celebrated. Through unimaginable hardships, Frida painted incredible works of art. Her folkloric style was influenced by Mexican popular art, fantastical imagery, and magical realism that incorporated vibrant colors, exotic flowers and animals, elaborate jewelry, and most importantly, herself. I am really influenced by that of Frida’s paintings and artistic career and love to incorporate her different styles into my wardrobe. Check out these finds!
Amazingly enough, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SF MOMA) is exhibiting Frida Kahlo’s art by commemorating the centennial of this amazing artist’s birth. The exhibit lasts now until September 28th so if you are at all interested get down there now! On display are paintings that span her career, along with a selection of her own collection of personal photographs, most of which have never been on public display!

Brittany Snow hosted the 4th bi-annual YMI Jeanswear Fashion Show last night at Boulevard3 in LA. She looked absolutely adorable in a white scoop neck sleeveless blouse and perfectly fitted YMI jeans from their premium Royalty line along with a cute cropped leopard print jacket. She did and awesome job as the host as the the show and party were a blast and you could tell she was having so much fun checking out beauty products from Too Faced and chatting and dancing with friends. Brittany Snow is definitely the “It” girl of the moment.

The show was super energetic, sexy, and overall enertaining. Lots of denim as you’d expect! They covered all the trends: high-waist jeans, short-shorts, skinny, wide-leg … and perfectly paired washes to styles. You name it, YMI has it covered.
YMI is available at Nordstroms, Macys, Dillards, and specialty chain stores worldwide. If you have never tried YMI (I hadn’t before this event) I highly suggest trying a pair on. I was lucky enough to score a pair and I love them! They have a great fit and sexy style - I am definitely going to rock these.
