Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Giella (founder of Giella cosmetics), at her counter at Henri Bendel’s here in NYC. In case you didn’t know, Giella makes makeup FROM SCRATCH. It’s all-natural, all-mineral makeup – so it’s completely pure and harmless.  She analyzed my skin (and by analyze I mean glanced at my face for a second), and mixed a liquid foundation for me in literally 2 minutes. It’s a perfect match! Also in my goodie bag, a cream-to-powder blush, as well as a cinnamon/vanilla lip gloss – both mixed right before my eyes. It was so much fun – like a little science project for adults. The best part – it’s so affordable! Everything lands between $20 to $55. Wait – I lied. For instance, if you weren’t lucky enough to get your hands on a coveted bottle of Chanel’s Black Satin polish, no worries! Giella has a mirror formula, so your tips can be the exact same color! How fun is that?
