My hair is a mix of curly, wavy and straight. No one product seams to work. Half of my hair will be straight as a board, with curls in the back and frizz mixed in. It’s thick, but baby fine. Dishwater blonde, but most people say brown — it’s anything but brown. I have both blonde and red mixed in and have not used hair dye in 10 years. Any suggestions?

Here’s my question: I love what the ice shine line makes my hair look like: very glossy and smooth. I’m even more excited that the ice shine line has come out with a volumizing mousse. Here’ what I need to know: is it ok to mix and match if need be? The regular conditioner for ice line doesn’t deeply conditon my hair and scalp enough and is it ok to use the volumizing line for the hairspray while using the ice shine shampoo and mousse?? HELP! I have very thin/fine hair that can also be described as sensitive, especially the scalp due to things like coloring I’ve done over the years.

I am 53 yrs old, but don’t look. I have long hair that goes to the middle of my back, it is straight and colored pale blone, which is my natural color, but is starting to gray a little, I do the roots every 6 weeks, my hair is very very thick and I have to wash it every other day. I want a drastic change as my hair is all over the house. I want to keep it long, I wear it up in a pony tail and when I curl it, I have to use 2 sets of hot rollers.
Question is this: What kind of cut is appropriate for a 53 yr old, I am very nervous about getting it cut and not being able to put it up in an elastic? My mother says that long hair on a woman over 50 looks awful, is this true.

I have natually curly hair that is shoulder length. It seems to have a mind of it’s own. Some days it’s curly & others it’s not. What would you recommend to use have soft curls all the time?

I have very curly hair and I don’t know what to do with it. It seems to get damaged very easily and I don’t have a whole lot of time to spend on it because I am the mother of a very active one year old. What can I do to keep my hair under control and not so frizzy, that won’t take a lot of time?

I have baby fine hair and need to use hairspray to keep hair style in place but most hairsprays are just too heavy and weight down my hair. What hairspray can I use that doesn’t weigh down fine hair?
