Sarah Says: How to Create a Braided Look

Braids are back in a big way. They have been appearing on some of the most famous heads in Hollywood, like Mary-Kate Olsen, Lauren Conrad, and Jessica Alba. It looks much harder to recreate than it actually is.

“This style looks complicated, but it’s really simple. The key is to keep braids conditioned so the hair appears shiny.

Form a middle part. Section hair on the right and left side to braid. Spray Aussie’s Sun-touched Shine Conditioning Shine Spray on hair that will be braided.

Separate sectioned hair into three strands. Take left over middle, right over middle and repeat until braids are formed on both sides. Secure ends with small elastic bands.

Loosely pull hair and braids into a low ponytail. Twist and wrap the ponytail into a cute loose bun.

If you have longer hair, try a cute side braid with a headband!”

Aussie products are available at Drugstore.com.
