Get ready to “go country” with some seriously fun guilty-pleasure TV. Imagine this …  Seven celebrities. A mansion in Nashville. And aspirations to cross over into the country music scene.

That is the basis for the CMT series Gone Country premiering on Jan. 24 at 8/7c. These seven hungry stars all have one common goal: to become the best country performer. The crooner that most  impresses the country audience and music star John Rich will record and release a song. This season we’ll watch George Clinton, Tara Conner, Taylor Dayne, Micky Dolenz, Sheila E., Richard Grieco, and Justin Guarini compete for the chance to go country.
