The Top 5 TV Couples of Recent Time
5. Karen and Jack, Will and Grace
I know, I know, they weren’t really a couple. But were they not the most fun pair to watch in primetime for like 5 years? Both were so funny, so irreverent. A comedic spark was there between them and it was great to watch it heat up.
4. Bailey and Sarah, Party of Five
I realize this is a bit of a throwback, but I was obsessed with this show and with this couple. It makes me sad that they didn’t end up together though I suppose the relationship was flawed from the start. Reunion special??
3. Kelly Kapowski and Zack Morris, Saved by the Bell
We followed these two kids from high school through college (yes, I watched the College Years) and there was no other way to end this show than with a wedding. Happily, the audience was not disappointed. The head cheerleader DID end up marrying the most popular boy in school!
2. Carrie and Mr. Big, Sex and the City
I know there will be some haters out there who think this should be Carrie and Aiden, but I have to say, I always loved her with Mr. Big. While this relationship definitely had it’s ups and downs, the two-part finale of this show confirmed that these two New Yorkers belonged together.
1. Ross and Rachel, Friends
Everyone, from the little 8 year-old in Kansas to the grandmother in New York to the power agent in Los Angeles to the kindergarten teacher in Texas, wanted Ross and Rachel to get together. And finally, after yanking us viewers around for years, they did. And now the world is happy.
