Much like floral prints, the borrowed-from-the-boys trend is a perennial favorite for designers and shoppers alike. This spring, many a Victor-Victoria look could be found on the runways, from Nina Ricci’s rebel rocker pantsuits to Lanvin‘s silk tuxedo ensemble. Fortunately, with a little shopping know-how, you can get your hands on chic power suit ensembles now—the best of which come with less than intimidating price tags.
A look from Keanan Duffty’s Bowie collection
Take the limited-edition men’s collection that hits Target stores next week. New York designer Keanan Duffty drew inspiration from David Bowie—rock legend and original gender-bending icon—for his tux jackets, rocker tees, and dress shirts. These skinny-fit, rock’n'roll ready looks are all in the friendly $15-60 range, which means glamour girls can get a jumpstart on spring’s boyish trend—all for a song.
