Lauren Bush at Fox’s Business Network Party

Earlier this week, Ivanka Trump and Lauren Bush turned out to celebrate Fox’s new Business Network at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I’m not going to waste precious GlamChic pixtel space on Fox or its fete, but I do want to take the opportunity to give props to Miss Trump and Miss Bush. The two have been in the press recently for their fashionable pursuits; Trump for her new jewelry launch and Bush for her humanitarian F.E.E.D. bag design. While many of their oft-photographed peers have embarked on in similar endeavors—many with more hype and less substance—it’s worth noting that these two are the real deal. Lauren, a World Food Program spokesperson, has been spotted sporting her burlap tote everywhere from afternoon errands to intimate gatherings—i.e. not just on the red carpet where she’s sure to be photographed.

And Ivanka’s collection and new boutique really are something special; especially considering the girl turns 26 this week! Tasteful role models are few and far between these days, so here’s to two girls who remind us that style, smarts, and substance can all go hand in hand.
