Merci Monsier LaCroix, merci! Thank you for designing those totally affordable (and quintessentially French) frocks for LaRedoute this season. And grazie for designing completely over-the-top couture gowns for the past two decades—and I know Kiki appreciates it too. But most of all, a million thanks for tracking down the bodacious Esther Cañadas and putting her in this completely fantastic, Barbiefied wedding gown of yours.

I loved her in those DKNY ads with her now ex-husband Mark Vanderloo, was thrilled by her mute cameo in 1999′s Thomas Crown Affair, and have been missing her I’m-so-not-amused pout ever since. Here’s hoping we’ll see more of her on this side of the pond.
