For her Spring 2010 collection, Maria Cornejo seemed to turn to the very basics—the earthy browns, forest greens, and beautiful ocean blues reflected the colors of nature beautifully in their simplicity. Similarly, the black and white focused on shape and skillful draping rather than busy prints. The patterns the designer did use were subtle, reflecting white noise and cascading water.
