DVF’s Journey of a Dress

It’s been quite the ride for Diane von Furstenberg. And now the iconic American designer and CFDA president, who knows how to fit and flatter the female form’ is getting her first major career retrospective. Journey of a Dress is set to open in Moscow this month and will include 6,000 square feet of personal artifacts, works of art and over 50 dresses chronicling the past 35 years of DVF’s rich life. According to Women’s Wear Daily, the exhibit will be curated by Vogue’s Andre Leon Talley and is slated to run through November 21 at the Manezh exhibition hall. It’s a fitting location, considering the designer’s father was born in Russia. And we’re sure he would have been very proud. Glam Editor BlogsLatest Posts |
