GlamChic caught up with Monique Lhuillier immediately after  her magnificent Fall 2011 Bridal Collection hit the runway on Sunday. The designer, whose wedding gowns are coveted by stylish brides everywhere, shared her tips on the season’s must have accessory, hottest trends, and how to know when you’ve found the one. ~Nola Weinstein

GlamChic: What trends are standing out for Fall 2011?
Lhuillier: Minis are back! Brides have been requesting more and more short dresses.They are looking to have fun on the big day. Separates are also very popular. Brides are embracing the embellished corset and skirt combo.

GlamChic: Is there one accessory brides should invest in?
Lhuillier: Veils are very important. I really love a beautiful gown with a plain veil. There is no need for alot of detail or embellishment. A small bouquet completes the look. Keep your flower arrangement simple and elegant. 

GlamChic: Any advice for brides looking for the perfect gown?
Lhuillier: Keep an open mind. Try on as much as possible. Whatever gown speaks to you is your dress!
