It’s time to toss your sky-high sparkling jellies from middle school and prepare your feet for something a bit more refined as Karl Lagerfeld has just signed a deal with Brazilian shoe brand, Melissa. Uncle Karl is set to launch four capsule collections of jelly shoes, the first featuring four style for Fall 2013. According to Women’s Wear Daily, Melissa has previously worked with the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Gareth Pugh, and Jason Wu, but the brand’s chief executive officer, Paulo Pedó called the upcoming collections “one of the most exciting collaborations the company has ever seen” with “truly iconic, fun fashion products.” We can’t wait to step out in his spin on the sensational shoes!
