Looking towards the future, Project Runway is infusing its judging block with some fresh designer input! While Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, and Michael Kors have divulged their talent, advice, and fashion taste to aspiring designers year after year, our dear Mr. Kors is moving on to a new chapter in his life.

But his seat isn’t staying empty.  Oh, no. Zac Posen is joining the crew, and taking Kors’ place alongside the runway! He Tweeted, “So excited to be the new judge on@ProjectRunway Season 11!! Joining @heidiklum @ninagarcia and @TimGunn.”

This won’t be Posen’s first appearance on a judging based reality show. Though he’s lending his talent to good friend Coco Rocha‘s show, The Face, with a guest spot, we’re especially excited to hear his insight week after week on Project Runway!

UPDATE: Kors lovers, fret not. Due to scheduling conflicts, Posen will be stepping into his fellow designer’s role for Season 11, but the longtime judge will be back for the finale and subsequent seasons!
