Kate Hudson is becoming more than the face of Ann Taylor, she taking on design duties, too! The star has just signed on to co-create a summer capsule collection with the retailer’s Creative Director Lisa Axelson. Hudson’s stunning red carpet-worthy looks will be translated for the Ann Taylor girl to add a touch of glamor to everyday life.

“Working with Ann Taylor has been a great creative experience, and there is a really wonderful connection,” Hudson told Women’s Wear Daily. “Ann Taylor is great at creating iconic wardrobe staples and updating them season after season. I love that Lisa Axelson is designing clothes for real women.”

Expect the styles to hit shelves in May.
