She’s crafty. She’s stylish. She’s techie. And she’s the next Glam publisher to let GlamLive in on her personal stats! She’s Natalie Zee Drieu, the awards-winning designer behind Coquette. Natalie’s blog is as multi-talented as she is, Coquette features commentary on fashion, accessories, beauty, tech/gadgets, DIY crafts and inspirational style. When she’s not spotting this season’s trends or knitting her latest creation, Natalie is interviewing a-listers from funny Amy Sedaris to Project Runway’s Chloe Dao. Oh and if you’re in need of a delish Roasted Lemon Rosemary Chicken recipe, Coquette has that too. If you’re not already thinking “is there anything this girl can’t do?” keep reading and she’ll continue to impress….
Let us in on 5 fun facts about you!
1. I’m funny and can do accents. I had jury duty with Robin Williams in SF and made him laugh hard with my impersonation of Katharine Hepburn.
2. I will eat anything chocolate at anytime, even if I’m full.
3. I have a very good memory and can remember the names of obscure actors/actresses from movies and TV shows but I have a hard time remembering people’s names that I meet.
4. I used to be a Creative Director in the interactive world and one of my main accounts I worked on for 5 years was Barbie.com. My Scene Barbie got her first cell phone PDA thanks to me since it was my phone that I scanned in for the site.
5. I’m a total klutz and can easily trip or fall in ballet flats.
Fill in the blank: I can’t live without …my husband and love of my life, Gilles.

What inspired you to start your blog/site? I wanted a place to talk about my love of fashion, technology and crafts all in one place. I was also inspired a lot by my grandmother who was a fashion designer/socialite in Shanghai in the 1930’s.
If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be? Paris, bien sur!

I love those answers. That picture of your grandmother gives me chills. She looks so amazingly glamourous, strong and assured. Lovely interview.
