Bet you didn’t know that a ventilation hood could be so gobsmackingly gorgeous, eh? Neither did I! At the kitchen and bath show a few years ago I was suitably awed by Elica‘s Om (that awesome green one at the very bottom), which looks more like some DJ’s minimalist turntable than a device for sucking up heat and cooking smells. But somehow the rest of the company’s amazingly clever designs escaped me. Most divine: these genius ones that look like simply sleek pendant lights. Why has no one thought of this before?
