In decorating a little girl's room, choose curtains and a bedspread set that either match or complement each other within your color scheme. Add a throw rug or area rug that says “princess” or has a crown or tiara image on it.
Pink and purple walls, bedding and frilly curtains are often used to decorate a little girl's bedroom. These colors work well but are not required for a little girl's bedroom. Select items for your little girl that will last for years; careful decorating choices will help you avoid having to redecorate her room within a year or two.
